Doelstellingen van Stichting CARDIMED Global Health Foundation

Stichting CARDIMED Global Health Foundation is gevestigd te Maastricht aan het Stationsplein 8R, 6221 BT.

De doelstellingen van Stichting CARDIMED Global Health Foundation zijn: Het aanbieden van (financiële) hulp aan (rechts)personen en organisaties in binnen- en buitenland ten behoeve van het voorkomen en/of bestrijden van (medische) problemen in de wereld in de breedste zin van het woord en meer specifiek op het gebied van de gezondheidszorg alsmede het aanvaarden van erfstellingen onder het voorrecht van boedelbeschrijving en voorts al hetgeen in de ruimste zin met een en ander verband houdt, daartoe behoort en/of daartoe bevorderlijk zijn.

Wijze van werving gelden

De Stichting CARDIMED Global Health Foundation ontvangt haar inkomsten door:

  • subsidies en andere bijdragen,
  • schenkingen, erfstellingen en legaten,
  • alle andere verkrijgingen en baten.

Beheer van het vermogen

Bestuur

Stichting CARDIMED Global Health Foundation heeft een bestuur dat verantwoordelijk is voor het beheer van het vermogen.
Het bestuur bestaat uit drie personen, te weten:
voorzitter dhr. C.G. Zollner
secretaris mevr. M. Essers
penningmeester dhr. A. Fernando

Activiteiten bestuur

Vergaderen
Het bestuur komt tenminste 2 x per jaar samen voor een bestuursvergadering. Hiervan worden notulen opgemaakt.

Activiteiten
Het selecteren van bestemmingsdoeleinden.

Financiën
Het bestuur is verantwoordelijk voor een gezond financieel beleid. De taken die hierbij horen zijn onder meer:

  • jaarlijks een begroting opstellen,
  • jaarlijks een jaarrekening vaststellen en goedkeuren,
  • beheren van de gelden,
  • besteden van de gelden.

Vergoeding bestuursleden
De bestuursleden ontvangen geen vergoeding voor hun bestuurswerkzaamheden.

Besteding van het vermogen

Het vermogen wordt besteed conform de doelstelling van de Stichting CARDIMED Global Health Foundation.

  1. De inkomsten worden in de eerste plaats gebruikt om de uitgaven te compenseren.
  2. De inkomsten van de stichting kunnen in de tweede plaats worden aangewend om andere stichtingen of initiatieven te steunen die een vergelijkbare doelstelling hebben als de eigen stichting.
  3. De stichting heeft niet de doelstelling om winst te maken. Wel wil zij een gezonde buffer aanhouden om tegenvallende inkomsten op te kunnen vangen. Daarnaast wordt dit gereserveerd om nieuwe activiteiten te ontwikkelen en op te zetten.

Objectives of the CARDIMED Global Health Foundation

The CARDIMED Global Health Foundation is located at Stationsplein 8R, 6221 BT, Maastricht.

The objectives of the CARDIMED Global Health Foundation are: Providing (financial) assistance to individuals and organizations, both domestically and internationally, for the prevention and/or combat of (medical) issues worldwide, broadly defined, and specifically in the field of healthcare. Additionally, accepting inheritances subject to the benefit of inventory and all that is in the broadest sense related, belongs to, and/or is conducive to these purposes.

Means of Fundraising

The CARDIMED Global Health Foundation receives its income through:

  • Subsidies and other contributions,
  • Donations, bequests, and legacies,
  • All other acquisitions and benefits.

Asset Management

Board of Directors

The CARDIMED Global Health Foundation has a board responsible for asset management.
The board consists of three individuals, namely:
Chairman Mr. C.G. Zollner
Secretary Mrs. M. Essers
Treasurer Mr. A. Fernando

Board Activities

Meetings
The board meets at least 2 times a year for a board meeting. Minutes are kept during these meetings.

Activities
Selecting destination purposes.

Finances
The board is responsible for a sound financial policy. The tasks associated with this include:

  • Preparing an annual budget,
  • Annually establishing and approving financial statements,
  • Managing funds,
  • Allocating funds.

Remuneration of Board Members
Board members do not receive compensation for their board activities.

Utilization of Assets

The assets are spent in accordance with the objectives of the CARDIMED Global Health Foundation.

  1. The income is primarily used to offset expenses.
  2. The foundation's income can secondarily be used to support other foundations or initiatives with similar objectives to the foundation's own.
  3. The foundation does not aim to make a profit. However, it seeks to maintain a healthy buffer to absorb potential income shortfalls. Additionally, this is reserved for developing and establishing new activities.
